The popular game show Wipeout is back and Camille Kostek looks to be having a blast when she is recording on set.
Nowadays, Kostek is widely known as the longtime girlfriend of Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end, Rob Gronkowski. Not only that, but she is also a professional dancer and fitness model. And at one point she was a professional cheerleader for the New England Patriots. Kostek is also a former cover girl for the Sports Illustrated magazine’s swimsuit issue.
But when she isn’t busy posing in swimsuits or hanging out with Gronk, Kostek is hosting the reboot of ABC’s Wipeout which ran from 2008 until 2014. The 2021 version of the show premiered on April 1 and features Kostek alongside WWE star John Cena and actress Nicole Byer as hosts. And as the hosts and contestants get ready for episode seven on Thursday night, Kostek took a second to show off her crazy flexibility in her latest social media post.
“Just a small town girl, livin in a WIPEOUT WORLD,” Camille Kostek wrote on Instagram. “Tonight 9/8c on TBS !!! Tune in to see what my life is like at work …. I have a feeling you’ll laugh with me, @johncena and @nicolebyer”
Camille Kostek Loves Working With Co-Hosts John Cena, Nicole Byer
While the name of the show and the crazy obstacles are back with the reboot of Wipeout, with it comes new faces in co-hosts, John Cena, Nicole Byer, and Camille Kostek. And Kostek says that both of her co-hosts are “awesome.”
“They’re awesome,” Kostek admits. “They actually worked closer with each other, I was a host in the field so I was the one really up and personal with the contestants, getting to tell their stories, and be there for those big ‘Wipeout’ moments.”
The swimsuit model says that she has really enjoyed getting to know the Wipeout contestants. In fact, she considers it one of her favorite parts of the job.
“The best part of my job is I really get to know these contestants, every single one,” Camille Kostek says. “I’m talking with them, I’m up in their face, I’m so much to the point that when they get off of the obstacle course, from the qualifier to the gauntlet, I’m slimed, I’m wet, they want to hug me and I’m like, ‘Listen, I love you but I gotta stay camera-ready all the time, I don’t have wetsuits on like you guys.”
