Candace Cameron Bure, Fuller House star and mom of three expresses her sadness on Instagram over dropping her son off at the airport. “I’m very sad that I didn’t get to go to take him to college,” she said, according to People. She posted a series of videos on her Instagram Story, saying in one, “I had to just drop him off at LAX, and I’m getting no sympathy from someone,” turning the camera to her husband, former ice hockey player Valeri Bure. She shares three children with Bure: Natasha, 23; Lev, 21; and Maksim, 19.

The actress also posted a photo on Instagram of her and her son, Maksim, at the airport. “College bound!!!” she wrote, “I’m so excited for him, although as his mama, and him being the baby, I’m so 😭.” Bure admitted on Instagram that children do “have to grow up.” Her husband stated in the video, “He’s 19 years old, by the way. I moved from Russia to U.S. by myself. I was 16 or 17. My mom didn’t drop me off, by the way.”

Hours later, Candace Cameron Bure posted that her son had not called her when he landed, but “I just called him, and he landed safe and sound, and we FaceTimed”. Bure has stated that she had a tough time adjusting to her less-full house. “We stay very connected by phone and by FaceTime and then meet up when we can,” she told Us Weekly in 2019, “…even though not everyone is at home, we’re still making time for one another.”

From her Instagram posts, it’s clear that faith plays a big role in the Bure family; earlier in the year, Maksim Bure graduated from NorthStar Christian Academy, and Candace posted a series of photos of the event on Instagram. She captioned them, “You have grown so much in character and your love for God. Your joy is infectious! You are and have always been such a blessing to us.” As he goes off to college, she posted, “Go @maksim.bure Go!! Be great for God!!”

Full House Again Amid Coronavirus

In April 2020, Candace Cameron Bure’s three children moved back home due to the Coronavirus outbreak in the U.S. The actress and author was thrilled at having a full house once again. She told Us Weekly, “We’ve been taking lots of walks and playing lots of board games and we’re in sunny California. We have a pool and we’ve been enjoying that too because the weather’s been nice. It’s just been concentrated family time [with] lots of cooking and eating.”

“I am very happy that I have my kids home and spending time with my husband too,” the former Full House star said last year. “Because a lot of times we’re like two ships passing in the night with our work schedule. So that part has been the biggest blessing for me.”
