Celebrity Wheel of Fortune is back in action and it feels like Maggie Sajak could not be any more excited than she is.
If you are a fan of the game show Wheel of Fortune, then you probably know who Maggie Sajak is. Or you at least recognize her last name. She is the daughter of longtime host Pat Sajak. And Maggie has been pumped up for months now awaiting the start of both Wheel of Fortune and Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.
The 26-year-old took to social media on Sunday to post a hilarious picture of her meeting the host of the show (her dad).
“It was so cool to meet the host of @celebritywof @patsajak,” Maggie jokingly wrote alongside the photo. “Don’t miss @celebritywof tonight at 8 p.m. ET on @ABCNetwork! @WheelofFortune”
Fans of the popular game show had some pretty great responses to Maggie Sajak’s latest post. Some of them replied back with jokes while others took her post quite literally.
“I can’t imagine all the dad jokes!” one fan commented with a laughing emoji.
“You have never met your father before?” another person asked.
And finally, a different Twitter user misread the Wheel of Fortune star’s post altogether saying, “I read it as Celebrity Wolf and now I want that show.”
Maggie Sajak Officially Joins ‘Wheel of Fortune’ as Social Media Correspondent
Season 39 of Wheel of Fortune is upon us and this season is set to be one of the best ones in ages. Not only have Pat Sajak and Vanna White had their contracts extended until at least 2024, but also another Sajak will officially be joining the team — Maggie.
Maggie Sajak will be taking the reins as the show’s social media correspondent. She had already been doing that somewhat unofficially for a while, but the network decided that it was time to make that role official. That means that we will be seeing more and more of Maggie Sajak as she manages and creates new content for the Wheel of Fortune social media profiles. And that most definitely is not a bad thing. We will get to see more behind-the-scenes-type interviews and other fun videos about the show as well.
