Former “Duck Dynasty” star Sadie Robertson Huff loves to gloat about her little family trio on social media. Her latest post captures her little family trip with her husband Christian Huff and their adorable daughter Honey James. This time, the three went to Disneyland and we can’t help but be (only a little) jealous.
Sadie Robertson Huff’s Instagram post features a small collection of photos from the family trip, including the little trio, some selfies, and a photo from one of the park’s rides. Fans went wild for little Honey in the photos and, truthfully, why shouldn’t they?
One follower commended the young couple’s journey to the Disneyland park with their young daughter as they wrote, “Aww!! Yay!! Never too early. 😍” Others commented on Honey’s features, stating, “She looks just like her daddy!!” Another Robertson Huff follower needed to know where they got the baby carrier from and others requested the couple wear masks. Overall, the post itself saw a wide variety of responses.
Robertson Huff seemed to enjoy herself very much as she captioned the post “a magical day at a happy place with some happy people.” And summer coming to a close and COVID-19 rates rising again, we could all use all the happy we can get.
Sadie Robertson Huff Took Her “Must-Have” Baby Accessory to Disneyland
While babies are, no doubt, both super adorable and super messy, one of Sadie Robertson Huff’s earlier posts featured her daughter Honey’s must-have accessory. Some moms insist on never leaving the house without baby girl’s bow, her lovey, or a favorite pacifier, for Honey, hers is a bib. However, whether it’s by Honey’s choice or not is unclear at this point.
On Robertson Huff’s daughter’s new “legithoneyjames” Instagram page, the young mom posted a photo of Honey wearing a pink and white leopard print bib. “*What’s one accessory you can’t leave the house without – MY BIB,” Honey’s mom wrote in the caption. As a young mom myself, I can’t help but agree. The bib benefit definitely outweighs the bow for a three-month-old.
Following the Friday post, Robertson Huff proved the bib’s importance when she shared her most recent collection of Disneyland photos. Click through the post and you’ll spot Miss Honey James in her pink bucket hat and ever-important bib.
How Did Little Honey Get Her Name Anyway?
Sadie Robertson’s Huff’s daughter Honey appears in most of the photos the “Duck Dynasty” star is sharing these days. However, while Honey James frequently makes an appearance, we are curious to know where the name originated from. Fortunately for us, she revealed the significance behind the baby’s name prior to her birth.
“Gracious words are like HONEY,” the star wrote earlier on her Instagram, “sweetness to the soul and health to the body.” She explained the statement came from one of her favorite bible verses, Proverbs 16:24. She further said that in going through the bible verses with her husband Christian, she shared how the man’s words to her are like honey and possess natural healing abilities, much like honey itself does.
As if the baby’s name wasn’t meaningful enough, Sadie Robertson Huff also said “Honey” reminds her of her grandmother who calls everyone she loves honey.
