Sadie Robertson Huff shared an adorable photo of her newborn baby daughter, Honey, and her fans are fawning over the “straight up goodness.” The Duck Dynasty daughter gave birth earlier this week.
She shared the cute picture of Honey in her honey-colored sweater with her 4 million Instagram followers.
“Good morning world!!! I thought you might could use 9 pounds and 5 ounces of straight up goodness,” she wrote.
The Duck Dynasty clan is growing fast in recent weeks. John Luke Robertson and his wife, Mary Kate, gave birth to a baby girl named Ella last month.
Sadie Robertson Huff said she chose the name Honey from one of her favorite Bible verses, Proverbs 16:24.
“Gracious words are like HONEY, sweetness to the soul and health to the body. Proverbs 16:24,” she posted in April to Instagram.
“I’ve always loved this verse,” she continued. “It made me have a love for the idea of all that honey is. It’s a sweet delicacy with a strong healing component. When Christian and I started dating, we went through the book of Proverbs together, and I remember getting to chapter 16, and as I read verse 24, I said to him, ‘you have words like honey. they are so sweet and are healing places in my heart I didn’t even know needed to be healed.’”
Korie Robertson Welcomes Honey to the Family
Korie Robertson called her new granddaughter a “little miracle” in her first post after Honey was born. The Duck Dynasty mom was overjoyed and the birth. Though, she found herself rendered speechless watching her daughter become a mother.
She posted photos of her first time holding Honey and welcomed her to the world with some encouraging words.
“The experience of watching your daughter give birth to her daughter…well, there are no words 😭🙏🏻🤗🙌🏻🥰 Honey James Huff, you are a little miracle! We love you dearly and can’t get enough of every single detail of you 😍,” she posted to Instagram. “Your mom is absolutely, utterly amazing, and your dad is simply the best coach and encourager ever! There is nothing those two won’t do for you! You have a whole bunch of us that couldn’t be more excited that you’re here and are going to be loving you and rooting you on your entire life. We can’t wait to see what God has planned for you! Welcome to the fam, Honey 💛 I love you!!”
