Gwen Stefani is hitting her buzzer and choosing not to do another season of “The Voice.” She is handing her position as the fourth judge down to Nick Jonas.

For season 20, Jonas will join John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and Blake Shelton. Gwen Stefani has been judging Season 19 alongside her fiancee, Shelton.

Tuesday, Shelton tweeted a teaser to reveal that Jonas will be taking Stefani’s part and returning to NBC’s singing competition for Season 20.

Jonas is excited to get to work and sit in the swivel chair once again after being a judge on Season 18 of the NBC hit show.

“Warriors never sleep. I’m back and ready to win this thing,” he captioned the post. “See you next season on @nbcthevoice!!”

Reba McEntire revealed she was offered the position but turned it down. Blake Shelton took the seat in 2011 and is one of the highlights of the show with his sense of humor and delivery of comments.

“It is very true. It was a very popular show in Holland, I’m pretty sure, and I watched the tape, and I said, ‘No, I’m going to pass on that’ because I don’t think I could ever be able to tell somebody that they’re terrible or go find another job or hope you like your nighttime job,” McEntire, 65, said on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.” “I couldn’t do that day in and day out. I just couldn’t do it, so I did pass on it.”

However, she did add, “Blake was the perfect choice,” she said. “He’s done a wonderful job.”
