It’s a sad day for “Jackass” fans worldwide as they begin to mourn the loss of one of their own. Patty Perez, also known as “Goddess Patty,” has died at age 57. The death comes unexpectedly from a Reno hospital in her home of Nevada, where medical staff treated the star for complications related to her Type 1 Diabetes.
Remembering Patty Perez
Patty Perez’s daughter, Priscilla, talked to TMZ about the circumstances of her death. She reiterated the fact that her death and complications were not COVID-related. That being said, Patty’s Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis is something she has struggled with since birth. The illness made it extremely difficult to keep a healthy weight and led to several different complications over the years. Ultimately, the complications included kidney failure, and this is what led to her untimely death.
Fans remember Patty Perez for her stints on “Jackass 2” and “Jackass 2.5” thereafter. One particular skit earned the star a lot of notoriety. She filmed alongside Jason Acuna, also known by the “Jackass” community as Wee Man. The bit went under the name “Magic Trick” and it’s easy to understand why. In each new development of the bit, the magic trick in question involved hiding Wee Man. In this particular instance, Patty Perez actually jumped on him, swallowing his entire body. Eventually, Johnny Knoxville made an appearance and asked “Where’s Wee Man?”
Later, she made an appearance in another bit known as “My Big Fat Fetish.” This bit also showcased physical comedy from the star.
Family and friends of Patty Perez set up a GoFundMe page in her honor. Donations will go directly towards medical and funeral expenses, with a goal of $6,000. As it currently stands, the GoFundMe is at just under $2,500.
Priscilla says: “We want to express our immense gratitude for the love and kindness everyone has shown to our mom. Being able to entertain and bring light and happiness to people was the highlight of her life. She was so proud of the work she did in the film industry.”

Patty Perez leaves behind a legacy of kindness and gratitude to a big family and many friends. Her daughter writes on the GoFundMe page:
“If you knew our mom at any point in time she was so full of life. She made the best out of any situation, loved her kids with every fiber of her being and was there for anyone who needed it. She was a friend to everyone.”
“Our mom leaves behind myself, my brothers Joe, Richard, Gabriel, our grandma Mary, and 7 grandchildren as well as so many friends and family members she loved with all her heart.”
