During his recent iconic run on “Jeopardy!”, champion Matt Amodio has impressed many people. That list of fans includes the popular game show’s guest host David Faber.

According to the popular game show’s website, Faber served as a guest host for the show during episodes that aired from Aug. 2 through Aug. 6. Amodio continued his winning streak during that time.

On Monday, Aug. 16, Faber shared his well-wishes with “Jeopardy!” champion Matt Amodio.

“Congrats on your amazing championship run on @Jeopardy@AmodioMatt,” the 57-year-old journalist tweeted.

Faber then extended an invitation to Amodio to join him on his CNBC series, “Squawk on the Street.”

“If and when it ends I hope you will join us on @SquawkStreet to discuss what you will be doing with your impressive winnings. I know @jimcramer has some good ideas,” Faber also tweeted.

CNBC fans will also recognize Jim Cramer as the host of “Mad Money.” Also for those fans who are not aware, “Squawk on the Street” is a financial show that airs on CNBC. According to its website it “is headquartered live on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. (The show is) there when the all-important opening bell rings every day.”

“Jeopardy!” champion Matt Amodio saw David Faber’s tweet, and, unsurprisingly, responded. And, also unsurprisingly, he promised that he would listen and learn from what he viewed on the show.

“Absolutely! I’ll be taking notes,” Amodio said in response to Faber’s tweet.

‘Jeopardy!’ Champion Matt Amodio Won 18 Consecutive Games Before Show’s Most Recent Season Cam to an End

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Matt Amodio’s run on “Jeopardy!” has caught the attention of such celebrities as David Faber. Amodio’s impressive run has gone for 18 consecutive games. Those games marked the final episodes of the show’s 37th season.

And during his time on the show, Amodio has won $574,801. That total has put him third on the list of the all-time winners on “Jeopardy!” The only two people ahead of him are “Jeopardy!” icons Ken Jennings and James Holzhauer.

Even though he closed out the 37th season of the famous show with a victory, that doesn’t mean it is the last time fans of the show will see Matt Amodio. He will be back when the show kicks off its 38th season. That season is set to debut on Sept. 13.

While he is becoming famous for his “Jeopardy!” winning streak, Amodio first caught the attention of the show’s fans for how he responded to clues. See, Amodio responds with “what is” for each clue, even if the response is a person. This has annoyed some fans. However, Amodio has not let that bother him.

And, in addition to getting to watch Matt Amodio defend his impressive winning streak on Sept. 13, fans will also get to see Mike Richards host his first episode of the show as its permanent syndicated host.
