Jessie James Decker is sharing a heartbreaking picture of her and Eric Decker’s son in the hospital. This is now the third time in 6 weeks that their child has made the trip.
The singer says in a post that every time he gets a cold it leads to wheezing, low oxygen levels, and an increased heart rate. It has Decker “feeling helpless.”
“He’s a champ, but it breaks my heart when he tells me, ‘Mommy my chest hurts’ in his sad little voice,” Decker posts on Instagram.
The couples’ son, Forrest, is pictured in the photo in his Spider-Man pajamas. He’s also wearing what looks like to be a nebulizer. According to Taste of Country, professionals tell Jesse James Decker that her son has asthma. However, she does plan on having him evaluated by an allergist to try and find out the cause of the attacks.

Jessee James Decker writes an extensive caption about Forrest’s condition.
“Ultimately I’m being told he has Asthma even though he’s pretty young to diagnose. It’s scary to watch his vitals drop, hear his grunting and see his chest struggling so much to take a breath. After he threw up for the 3rd time ( I think from coughing so much) ( no fever) I knew it was time to take him in,” Decker explains.
“They gave him stronger meds and treatments and watched him through the night. Going to see an allergist to see if maybe something is triggering the attacks,” the singer continues.
Decker is trying her best to find the best treatment for her son as she tries to remain strong for her child.
“So confusing for a parent to have this issue and just not know what to do or why it’s happening. He was born full term and 9 lbs and no issues until last year and becoming more chronic,” Jessee James Decker writes. “I don’t love to post too much of this kind of stuff because my babies are precious to me. But I’ve had some amazing advice from fellow insta moms that I genuinely appreciate. So thank you. It’s that kind of mamas helping mamas community on here i really appreciate.”
Jesse James Decker reaches out to her “fellow mamas” on social media. “So I just want to know from this post if any other parents have experienced this? Other than an allergist and a specialist did this go away for your babies? I wonder if he’s now allergic to pet hair?”
Forrest was born in March 2018. The couple also has two other children, Eric Thomas, 5, and sister Vivianne, 6.
