Brother of “Blue Bloods” star Donnie Wahlberg, Mark is a familiar face here. Of course, that may have more to do with the fact that he’s a world-famous movie star ten times over. But it doesn’t change the fact that his name often comes up in Outsider conversation. This time, however, it has nothing to do with his brother. It has everything to do with the summer vibes he’s channeling in a recent Instagram post.
The “Patriot’s Day” actor was in full relaxation mode as he kicked his feet up on the dash of a speedboat fit for a king. With no destination in mind, the movie star and his guests took a moment to float and worry about nothing but what the lake has in store for them.
Wahlberg bobbed his head to the music as the camera panned across the lake and gave us a look at the boat itself. The vibes are unmatched.
“Rest and recover,” Wahlberg wrote in the Instagram caption.
And what better way to unwind than kicking back behind the wheel of a speedboat that looks like it’s straight out of “Entourage.” The actor’s post has us wondering… Does anyone know if Mark Wahlberg happens to be in the market for some new friends? Because if so, we’d like to throw our hat in the ring.
Mark Wahlberg’s Followers Comment on the Movie Star’s Lake Day
Obviously, most people would rather be vibing on a boat than doing whatever it is they’re doing right now. And we don’t blame them.
Mark Wahlberg’s post stirred up feelings amongst his followers ranging from outright respect to jealousy.
“Smoothest cat on the scene, been a fan for a minute. Keep being you we love the authenticity! From an Army Vet,” one fan wrote.
“What I wouldn’t give to rest and recover w Mark Wahlberg on a yacht,” another wrote.
“Nice boat Looks like you’re at the Broads in Lake Winnipesaukee. Great spot,” someone else added.
The Actor/Producer Has Been Busy Throughout the Pandemic
Mark Wahlberg has become one of the busiest people in the entertainment industry over the past few years. He has branched out from acting to producing and has been all the busier for it.
Currently, the “Lone Survivor” star has four projects in development. For one of them, Wahlberg both producing and is also playing the title character. The movie is called “Stu,” and it sees Mark playing a washed-up boxer-turned-priest.
Recently, Mark Wahlberg did the same thing for a Paramount movie called “Infinite.” He produced and starred in the film opposite Chiwetel Ejiofor.
It appears that the boat time provided a much needed break from his Hollywood grind.
