Music icon Miley Cyrus posted a series of fierce black-and-white photos on her Instagram that has all her fans talking. In the caption, she wrote that none other than the OneDirection superstar Harry Styles “took these photos.”

The five photos show Cyrus sitting at a white table while posing for the camera.

Miley Cyrus Photo Dumps on Instagram

Recently Miley Cyrus has been using her Instagram to post funny photo dumps. They include older pictures of her when she was on “Hannah Montana” as well as old tabloids.

In between are random meme-like photos of anyone from Katy Perry to Britney Spears. She’s been posting these highly entertaining and somewhat nostalgic photo series to her Instagram for weeks now.

One photo in the middle of one of her photo dumps is a cartoon woman holding a sign that says, “Girls don’t want a boyfriend, girls want to see Miley Cyrus on world tour again.”

Besides posting photos on Instagram, Cyrus has also spent the last few weeks with her new dog.

According to People, she rescued a pit bull named Angel. Her new family member was named to honor her late dog, Mary Jane. She passed away a few months ago from cancer. She posted a photo of her furry family along with a quote from her song “I Thought I Lost You,” which she made with John Travolta and was in the movie “Bolt.”

“I feel her here with me blessing this new member to my family who’s name is ‘Angel’ because she was delivered to me by one … My Mary. It breaks my heart to know Angel was sleeping on concrete in a shelter for three months before finally making it home. The stigma and stereotype that surrounds pit bulls tears me in two. This breed is incomparably loving. Just like humans nurture often overrides nature,” Cyrus wrote.

Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana

Starring as “Hannah Montana” from 2006 to 2011 on Disney Channel is what gave Miley Cyrus her big break in the music and acting world. However, at what cost?

Miley Cyrus said on Spotify’s “Rock This with Allison Hagendorf” podcast that the show gave her an “identity crisis.” On the show, she had a blonde-wigged alter-ego that was famous, but she remained a regular person when she was Miley.

“And then the concept was that when I looked like myself, when I didn’t have the wig on anymore, that no one cared about me. I wasn’t a star anymore,” Cyrus said on the podcast, according to Insider.

When she was done being Hannah Montana she released her album “Bangerz.” She explained this is why she created a more “characterized” version of herself when she first escaped from her Disney Channel role.

Cyrus said she’s had to come to terms with the fact that Hannah Montana wasn’t a character. Instead of a third-party person, she was a part of her and her success.

Now her most recent album, “Plastic Hearts,” is a look into the rocker style that Miley Cyrus has grown into. She has also started her own nonprofit called the Happy Hippie Foundation a few years ago.
