It’s the most wonderful time of year for Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. This is the couple’s first Christmas together as a married couple. To celebrate, Shelton and Stefani host a holiday-themed episode of the “From Apple Music With Love” podcast. They banter, play their favorite Christmas tunes, and fangirl over each other. There is no mistake that they are each in awe of the other’s talent.

The couple gushes over each other’s Christmas records on a special holiday episode of “From Apple Music With Love.”

First, “The Voice” judge Blake Shelton gushes over his wife’s record “You Make Me Feel Like Christmas.” He prefers to shine the spotlight on her work.

“The holidays, Christmas especially, is just very important to Gwen and I, and we both have Christmas albums,” he says on the podcast. “You [Stefani] have the way bigger Christmas album, but if you don’t mind, I’m going to throw some of my songs in here from my measly Christmas album.”

Gwen Stefani’s “You Make Me Feel Like Christmas”

Gwen Stefani‘s “You Make Me Feel Like Christmas” is a merry record filled with festive songs and features. Of course, the first single from the record is a duet between Stefani and her new husband. It also includes holiday classics like “Santa Baby,” “White Christmas,” and “Let It Snow.” The record is reissued twice, once in 2018 and again in 2020. Stefani’s voice feels fresh with every song.

Gwen Stefani is a big fan of her husband’s record as well. She responds to his remarks with a sweet comment.

“Your Christmas album is one of my favorite Christmas albums,” Stefani says. “You’re an incredible singer, and you sing country music well, but you can sing Christmas music very, very, very well, as well.”

Blake Shelton’s “Cheers, it’s Christmas”

Blake Shelton’s “Cheers, it’s Christmas” brings his warm twang into the mix. His record includes old and new holiday tunes alike, including features from Kelly Clarkson, Reba McEntire, and Miranda Lambert. Shelton receives three co-writing credits for his work on “Time for Me to Come Home,” “The Very Best Time of Year,” and “Santa’s Got a Choo Choo Train.” These original works balance out classics like “Jingle Bell Rock” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.” The 14-track album does not have a rerelease but is certified Gold by the RIAA a month after its debut.

The couple’s “From Apple Music With Love” episode is full of so much love and holiday cheer. Shelton shows much more of a softer side that is unseen on “The Voice.” Stefani, calls him a musical hero.

“You are one of my heroes, one of my musical heroes, so to have you cover a song I wrote, to me that’s one of my favorite life stories that ever happened to me as a songwriter,” she says.

Could they get any cuter? I don’t think so.
