Country music star Carly Pearce is in the Christmas Spirit as the she is buying gifts for her family.
Pearce says she had an epiphany recently while picking out a Christmas gift to give to her mother. She took to social media Friday evening to share the revelation with her fans and other social media followers. In the post, she says items she has purchased for a particular family member make her realize how closely she resembles this person.
“The package of mom’s Christmas presents were just delivered to my house,” she says in the tweet. “Judging by what I bought her, I am realizing more and more how much we are he same person.”
While she didn’t reveal what she bought for her mother, it seems the gift is something that she herself would like to have. Carly Pearce’s fan base responded positively to the post with more than 300 likes and double digit retweets within hours of the posting. Some fans pointed out that if the singer resembles her mother, than her mother must be a wonderful person.

The holiday spirit has fallen on Pearce as she continues to share her Christmas cheer with her social media followers. Just a few weeks ago, she performed with Lea Michele to kick off the Macy’s Christmas Tree lighting in Atlanta.
In an interview during last year’s holiday season, Pearce speaks on the importance of celebrating Christmas. The superstar singer says she still keeps traditions alive that she carried in her childhood and talks about her love of the holidays.
“I think just the tradition of being with family, always going to my grandparents’ house on Christmas Eve, and opening presents, and going to midnight Christmas Eve service,” she says of recalling family traditions.
Though 2020 has been a big year for Carly Pearce, she is looking forward to an even more exciting 2021.
