Chase Rice is revealing new music, and some additional details about his five senses.

The country music singer’s been promising new music and teased on Thanksgiving that he might be releasing something soon. It seems like Rice is delivering on his promises and is sharing that he will be dropping a new single.

“On a real note. Don’t have covid. But I’m dropping a single tonight. With 2 guys that I learned a lot from. Respect the hell out of @FLAGALine. And 10 years after we started doing music together and lived together, we’re at it again. Drinkin beer. Talkin God. Amen,” he writes.

However, this tweet comes on the heels of his first message that Rice shared with his followers.

“Just lost my taste and smell. Weird. Also, dropping a single at midnight,” Rice admits.

According to the CDC, a loss in taste and smell are two of the symptoms that people can experience if they have the coronavirus. Well, Rice promises in his second post that he “doesn’t have COVID.” However, there’s been no indication if the country music artist received any sort of testing to rule out the virus.

Rice has also been outspoken about wanting to play live concerts. He claims the government is treating its citizens like “kids.” Additionally, Rice has a plan to bring live concerts back amid the pandemic.

Chase Rice and Florida Georgia Line Team Up Again

The multi-platinum country star is teaming up again with Florida Georgia line for his recent release. The song dropped at midnight on Nov. 29. It was a surprise to most, even though Rice has been talking about new music for most of this year.

Rice is joined by FGL for “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen.” single. This is the second time that the 35-year old’s teamed up with Florida Georgia Line. The foursome’s debut single together was “Cruise” in 2012. The song went on to break records, and become Diamond certified No. 1.
