Riley Keough is following her grandfather Elvis Presley’s footsteps.

Rising country artist Orville Peck debuted the “official country road cover” of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.” The recording is for the forthcoming album, Born This Way Reimagined – The Tenth Anniversary. Keough is credited for providing background vocals on the project.

Ironically, Peck’s vocals have been compared to Presley’s. His deep tone and vibrato make it perfect for the country genre. His version of the pop classic provides twang and a completely different instrumentation.

“My official country road cover of ‘Born This Way’ for the 10th-anniversary edition of Born This Way Reimagined is out now,” Peck wrote. “I am so honored and excited to be a part of the iconic legacy of this song and album. Thank you @ladygaga for askin me and Happy Pride y’all!!”

She has worked on numerous musical projects, including her mother’s music video for “Idiot” and a Justin Timberlake music video. However, music has not been a professional priority in Riley Keough’s life.

Music is my favorite thing in the world,” she told IMDB. “I grew up completely around it and I think it’s one of the most important things to me, but at this point, I can’t see myself doing that professionally. Luckily, for the most part, I don’t feel pressured.”

Riley Keough’s Career

Although Riley Keough has an absolutely stunning voice, her main priority and passion is acting. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a young girl in modeling. She worked with major brands like Vogue and Dolce & Gabbana.

Her debut acting role was in 2010’s The Runaways. She portrayed Marie Currie and starred alongside Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart. In 2012, she proved her talents by beating out Lindsay Lohan for the role of Nora in Magic Mike.

In 2016, she starred in the Starz series, The Girlfriend Experience. She portrayed the character of Christine Reade a “law student who moonlights as an escort.” Her work earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress – Television Motion Picture.

Since then, she has also earned two producing credits. She worked on Welcome the Stranger in 2018, where she also played the role of Misty. She also starred and co-produced Dixieland.

Prior to the pandemic in January 2020, her latest project, Zola, premiered at the Sundance Film. Riley Keough is currently promoting the upcoming film slated for release this year.
