Florida Georgia Line Make History
The dynamic country duo has had a successful year. They recently celebrated an accomplishment that has never been seen in country music. By having two songs certify diamond status, they did what no other country artist has done before.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) put out a tweet announcing the news earlier this week.
.@FLAGALine was first with one Diamond single, and now they’re first with two! Congrats fellas. @RIAA https://t.co/yRmj0c4xO2

“@FLAGAline was first with one diamond single, and now they are the first with two!” the tweet says. “Congrats Fellas.”
Hubbard and Kelley were quick to point the accomplishment was made a reality by their adoring fan base.
“Thank you guys for the recognition and this ride has been a dream come true,” Kelley says. “It’s pretty crazy hearing the numbers. It’s pretty wild to think about it in that time span.”
