Stop what you’re doing and start listening because Florida Georgia Line just dropped their latest album.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day weekend, Florida Georgia Line showed fans some love by releasing their new album, Life Rolls On. The 16-track record features previously released singles, “New Truck,” “Life Looks Good,” and “Life Rolls On.” This album marks the first time the duo worked with producer Corey Crowder instead of Joey Moi. The two co-produced the album with Crowder. Band member Tyler Hubbard said the collaboration “brought back the joy” of music-making.
“It was just the most fun we’ve probably ever had making music,” said Hubbard. “I mean, it brought back the joy and it was quite an awesome process.”
The two announced the album’s release via social media this morning with a clip from the song, “Life Rolls On.” Along with the clip, the band wrote, “We’re so grateful for all of your love and support since Day 1. Thanks for going on this wild ride with us y’all! #liferollson is out now.”
Tyler Hubbard Says This Is Florida Georgia Line’s Strongest Album Yet
Certainly, the duo behind Florida Georgia Line has found success since their debut in 2012. During an interview, Hubbard shared that Life Rolls On is both a reflection of their first album as well as an evolution from it.
“I feel like this is our strongest collection of work, our strongest project we’ve done,” said Hubbard. “I feel like there’s a nostalgic feel to it. That kind of takes us back to our first album in a way, but also elevated. And it kind of showcases how much we’ve grown.”
The two added that the album brings a sense of hope during a time when it’s needed most. However, the two recorded the album a year ago and had no idea how timely the content would actually be.
“There’s a lot of love on this album, there’s some party and there’s a lot of feel-good,” said Kelley.
“I just feel like there’s a lot of hope in this music. There’s a lot of joy,” added Hubbard. “And I feel like although we recorded it a year ago. It feels like it’s so timely for where we’re at in the world. And we hope it brings some joy and love and good energy into the world, for sure.”
In addition to the album, Florida Georgia Line also announced that they’ll be hosting a virtual concert. They’re calling the concert Life Rolls On From The FGL House. Fans can tune in on February 17 at 9:00 p.m. EST on the Amazon Music Twitch channel. The concert is not just in celebration of their new album. It’s also a way to give back to the community they love. All proceeds from the concert will go to The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee’s Nashville Neighbors fund. This is in support of businesses impacted by the Nashville Christmas morning bombing.
