George Strait Drops New Love Songs Playlist
There’s really no better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with a playlist full of George Strait love songs. Thankfully for us, the country music icon dropped a new love songs playlist just in time for the holiday.
Strait once again took to his Twitter account to announce the special Apple Music Country playlist on Saturday (Feb. 13) afternoon. The lovey-dovey playlist has the perfect songs to express to our special someone exactly how we are feeling.
Strait’s new playlist includes 23 tracks. It’s definitely worth checking out for any George Strait fan or a fan of country music in general. There’s no doubt that we will be downloading the playlist.
“A George Strait Love Songs playlist on @AppleMusic,” Strait posted on Saturday. “Need we say more? ❤️”
Quite possibly the most recognizable song on the playlist is Strait’s classic “I Cross My Heart.” This song was written by Steve Dorff and Eric Kaz. If you’re feeling up to it, you can take a look at the remastered music video for “I Cross My Heart” here.
Go ahead and give the playlist a listen and see which song speaks to you. For example, if you and your significant other are in a mood to dance, put on the George Strait song “I Just Want to Dance With You.”
There are several other hit love songs by The King of Country on his new playlist. A couple that come to mind are “Let’s Fall to Pieces Together” and “The Man in Love With You.”
In addition, other songs included on the Valentine’s Day playlist might look familiar to George Strait fans. “Run,” “It Just Comes Natural,” “Blue Clear Sky,” “River of Love,” “One Night at a Time,” and “Love’s Gonna Make It Alright” all make appearances.”
