Gwen Stefani addressed Blake Shelton breakup rumors.
What Gwen Stefani Had to Say
The No Doubt frontwoman spoke on the Today Show on Monday (October 19). Host Hota Kotb read off the most popular Google searched pertaining to the couple including, “Gwen and Blake call off wedding.”
“So, what’s happening with the wedding?” Kotb asked, while Stefani laughed. “Wow. That’s a really good question,” she said. “The good news is that we still like each other a lot. That’s good.”
Kotb probed and asked when the wedding will take place. “I don’t know,” she admitted. “We’ll see what happens.”
Back at The Voice
The couple has returned to filming NBC’s The Voice. Shelton told Entertainment Tonight Canada that it’s going to be a lot different without a studio audience. “Because it’s gonna be the first time we’ve auditioned people for this show without a live studio audience,” he revealed. “I think it’ll be very interesting, and will open up a whole new dynamic with the coaches. Which, by the way, Gwen’s back – which makes me very happy,” he smiled.
“Having Gwen back, though, I think is very comforting for all the coaches,” he shared. “We all feel like we’re able to just go back to the game we already knew. We all know how to play each other at this thing. It kinda felt like the old gang got back together again and we’re having a blast.”
Although his girlfriend is back coaching on the show, it’s not all fun and games when it comes to winning. “All the coaches came to win this season,” he concluded.
Time in Quarantine
Stefani and Shelton have been hauled up at his Oklahoma ranch during the COVID-19 pandemic. Stefani even dyed his hair in an attempt to cover his grey hair.
The couple also bought a $13.2 million home together in Encino, California.
