Kid Rock is a man who knows how to have fun. Throw country music singer Jon Pardi in the mix and you have all the ingredients you need for a top-tapping – and line dancing – good time.
A few years ago – back in the pre-coronavirus days of 2019 – the rocker and the singer found themselves on stage together in a hub of country music. And, unsurprisingly, they made the most out of the time they had in front of their audience.
According to Country Music Family, Kid Rock and Jon Pardi joined forces for a performance during the popular CMA Fest in Nashville. This event often brings performers together in order to thrill audiences and make history together. What brought these two performers together on the famous Broadway street of Nashville was Kid Rock’s Big A** Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse
When the two singers got on stage together, one of the songs they decided to perform was The Temptations wildly popular song, “My Girl.”
As if performing their version of this catchy tune wasn’t enough entertainment for the crowd, Kid Rock and Jon Pardi added to the fun by out in a line dance. And, the two popular singers gave their dancing performance all they had. Also, you can watch them dance for their fans on the stage below.
Popular Singers Also Joined Forces to Perform ‘Head Over Boots’
According to the article, Kid Rock and Jon Pardi didn’t stop with their line dancing to The Temptations “My Girl.”
The rock star and the country music star also danced along to Pardi’s popular song, “Head Over Boots.”
The two decided to perform the song for the crowd. And, it is clear from the performance that this was a Jon Pardi song that Kid Rock knew very well. While the “Only God Knows Why” singer was performing his hit, Pardi was seen dancing along on the side of the stage.

Collaborations like this are one thing that makes live music so amazing. Let’s hope that we have a lot of that – and safely – in our futures!
Kid Rock Comments on Decision to Cancel Concerts in Texas
Recently, Kid Rock announced that he was canceling tour stops at Billy Bob’s in Texas. Canceling a live performance, of course, is not something most performers ever want to do. However, in the world of COVID-19, it’s not completely unexpected.
In a social media rant he shared on Aug. 26, Kid Rock offered an explanation as to why his shows at that Texas venue had been canceled.
“Billy Bob’s Shows This Weekend… I am pissed,” Kid Rock said on Twitter. “Over half the band has f****** covid (not me), and before u s*** for brains bloggers and media trolls run your mouths, many of them, like me, have been vaccinated. I was gonna come and rock the house anyway, play acoustic, DJ …”
In a second tweet, the famous singer said: “But seriously, s*** is way out of my hands on this one. I am beyond upset and you real ones know I would never cancel if I absolutely didn’t have too (sic). For this, I am sorry.”
