Tim McGraw fans are in for “something real special” very soon.

On Tuesday, the country music star shared a brief video clip and message on Twitter about a new song he has recorded with Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard.

“Tyler sent me this song a few months ago and from the first time I heard it….I knew it was one I wanted to be singing for a long time,” McGraw posted. “We got together in the studio last month and created something real special. Hope y’all agree when you hear it!! #UNDIVIDED coming Jan. 13th.”

Tim McGraw also shared a link where fans can pre-order his single with the Florida Georgia Line singer.

Listening to the 15-second clips reveals an upbeat song made for a time when the country is coming out of a bleak 2020 and moving into a hopeful 2021.

“Look around and love somebody. We’ve been hateful long enough,” the lyrics say. The song also references America, “this country that we love,” and seems that it is going to urge everyone to come back together after difficult times and be “undivided.”

“I knew immediately when I finished it, I had to text it to Tim. He has a way of communicating with the world that is unique in music,” Hubbard said. “For him to want to perform with me was an amazing feeling. The song is about coming together, and that’s exactly what we did.”

In addition to McGraw and Hubbard, Corey Crowder and Byron Gallimore also worked on the song.

Tuesday’s Tweet wasn’t the first time Tim McGraw teased his latest collaboration with Hubbard. On Jan. 3, he shared an Instagram post of him with Hubbard. The black and white photo shows the two singers clearly enjoying themselves in the studio. The caption reads, “Can’t wait to show you what @tylerhubbard and I have been workin on #undivided.”

Tim McGraw Teams Up with Florida Georgia Line

“Undivided” isn’t the first time Tim McGraw has joined forces with a member of Florida-Georgia Line. In 2016, he joined Hubbard and his bandmate, Brian Kelly, on the song “May We All.”

The song first appeared on Florida Georgia Line’s third album, “Dig Your Roots.” Then, it appeared on a recent album that featured Tim McGraw’s greatest hits. The collaboration on “May We All” came after the Florida Georgia Line duo asked McGraw to join them on the song.

“They asked if I would sing on the song. They sent it over to me,” McGraw said. “I said, ‘Sure I’ll sing on the song.’ I didn’t ever think of it being a single or anything, I just thought sure I’ll sing on the song.”

The single led to a video, which McGraw was happy to see happen.

“Then the next thing I knew they were making a video for it,” McGraw said. “I saw the treatment for the video and I got to show up and do that. We had a lot of fun shooting the video because we had a lot of time to really work together and develop the story. It turned into much like a mini-movie.”
