“The Pioneer Woman” Ree Drummond has made her love and support for one of her peers very clear.
As many of her fans are already aware, Valerie Bertinelli recently responded via Instagram to an individual who criticized her for her weight. Her response was tearful and moving – and had to hit home for so many people who have felt that pain during their lives.
The actress-turned-cooking-show host began the caption that accompanied her video with a simple question: “Aren’t we tired of body shaming women yet?!”
Sadly, the answer to that question appeared to be, “no.” In the video, Bertinelli expresses so much pain and hurt. It will definitely move you, especially if you have ever felt the same way.
Since she posted her tearful video, many people have shared their support for Valerie Bertinelli. Many of these people are her fellow celebrities. One of those was one Bertinelli’s fellow Food Network stars. This star was “The Pioneer Woman” herself – Ree Drummond.
On the same day that Bertinelli opened up about her pain, Drummond shared her support. She did so in a comment posted to Bertinelli’s video. Honestly, what Drummond had to say is good advice for any of us as we go through the inevitable struggles of life.
Here’s what “The Pioneer Woman” had to say: “This video is everything. Beautiful Valerie, you inspire, you encourage, and you make people feel like everything is good and right. You have done this your whole life. You win.”
There were many people who responded to Drummond’s support of Bertinelli. As of the afternoon of July 12, 2021, more than 100 people had responded to the comment.
‘The Pioneer Woman’ Isn’t the Only Celebrity to Show Support for Valerie Bertinelli
‘The Pioneer Woman’ Ree Drumond isn’t the only celebrity who has voiced their support for Valerie Bertinelli during this difficult time for her.
One of those celebrities is Bertinelli’s son, Wolf Van Halen. His father is the late rock star, Eddie Van Halen. And like most sons would do, Wolf was a very fierce supporter of his mother. He shared his thoughts as a comment to his mother’s video.
“You’re perfect the way you are, Ma. I love you (also for no particular reason, what was that f—er’s @ so I can harass them with memes?),” Wolf shared.
In addition to “The Pioneer Woman” Ree Drummond and Wolf Van Halen, other celebrities have made their support of Valerie Bertinelli public. These celebrities include Khloe Kardashian, Carnie Wilson, Sunny Anderson, and Melissa Peterman.
Here’s just a bit of the kind message Carnie Wilson shared with Bertinelli: “I want you to know that I love you. I stand beside you. I feel the same as you. We know the struggle. … the ups & the downs… the highs & the lows. We don’t need people’s opinions… but there’s no way we can stop people from spewing theirs. …”
