“Duck Dynasty” star Sadie Robertson is happy with her new hair color.
Sadie Robertson Shares Pic of Pink Hair
In an Instagram post on Thursday, the reality TV show star showed off the new pink front strands framing her face.
“I love February,” she posted. “I love, love. And no I’m not talking about ‘relationships’ (which i do love too) but I’m talking about LOVE ITSELF. I’m talking about God. I’m talking about the love that’s for everyone and everyone is called and commanded to give… the thing that gives us purpose and identity. real love.”
Robertson had previously revealed her new hair color in an Instagram post that included a recording of her FaceTime call to husband Christian Huff.
“Ever since our gender reveal party when I had pink paint all over me Christian has been telling me to dye my hair pink… today I surprised him,” Robertson wrote in a text box over the video.
Robertson Has Recovered from COVID-19
Last year, Robertson got COVID-19 along with the rest of her family. She discussed the hardships that brought with her mom Korie and her sister Bella on her podcast, “WHOA That’s Good.”
The sickness started with her sister Bella, who passed it to their mother Korie, per Fox News. Robertson figured maybe she’d be okay until her husband developed a fever.
“I actually tested negative but I still didn’t feel good about it,” Robertson said, according to Fox. “And then Christian got a fever and I was like, ‘Oh no, here it comes.’ And sure enough, two days later, I was full-on Covid.”
Her symptoms included body aches, loss of taste and smell, brain fog, trouble sleeping and vivid dreams when she did. She also got an awful headache.
“Like, a different kind of headache than I’ve ever had,” she went on. “It was like a migraine behind my eye. Then I got the cough, my throat was so red and on fire. It was terrible.”
Going to Get Help
She said eventually it got so bad that her mom told her she had to go to the hospital.
“Being so weak and so sick and throwing up as much as I was, I got very dehydrated,” she added. “When I was dehydrated, my chest pain had gotten really bad. I could barely talk and mom came over and was like, ‘You need to go to the hospital.’”
She did, and fortunately, they were able to help her. But Robertson was not taking the experience lightly. She warned her listeners to heed public health guidelines and try to steer clear of the virus at all costs.
“I honestly thought if I got COVID it would not be that bad,” she said. “But no, I had it horribly.”
Luckily, Robertson doesn’t seem to be experiencing any aftereffects from the virus. By this week, she and Christian were back to laughing and joking around together on social media.
