The other day, parents worldwide took the time to honor their daughters. Now, it’s time for all their sons to shine. Celebrities have joined in on the occasion as well, with tributes flying in from “Law & Order’s” Chris Meloni and “NCIS: Hawai’i” star Vannessa Lachey. Now, “NCIS: Los Angeles” star Daniela Ruah wants in on it too. She is the proud mother of River and Sierra. A recent Instagram post from the star celebrates one of these “little doodles” and it’s honestly too cute not to share.
Daniela Ruah Gushes About Her ‘Little Doodle’
Daniela Ruah’s tribute for little River comes after an equally adorable snap of the star with her daughter and mini-me, Sierra over the weekend. As usual, the caption accompanying Ruah’s snap contained two languages: first and foremost, English, followed by the bilingual star’s Portuguese translation.
“Happy National Son day! He was only 3 here and looks nothing like this anymore… Now we have less teeth, hair like Tarzan & usually make faces for the camera 😂 I love you kiddo, I’m constantly laughing with you, my human doodle.”
“Feliz dia do Filho! Aqui só tinha 3 anos e já mudou tanto… agora temps menos dentes, cabelo à Tarzan e muitas caretas nas fotos 😂 Adoro-te miúdo, passo a vida a rir-me contigo seu rabisco humano.”
The comments are equally split between the two languages as well, and fans can’t get enough of the tiny family’s love for each other. They also posit that River looks more like his daddy, while sister Sierra looks more like her mom.

An Active Family
Apparently, Daniela Ruah spent the past weekend competing with two teams in one of the most iconic triathlons there is. It took place right on the beach in Malibu and it looks like her little “doodles” joined in on the occasion. Although, her little mini-me’s stuck to cheering from the sidelines. The event helped a good cause, too. A large portion of the proceeds from the race went directly to children. More specifically, Ruah’s team helped raise over $21k for a children’s hospital.
Ruah tells fans she loved the experience, leaving a positive caption to describe Sunday’s events. The caption reads as follows: “So much fun, camaraderie, commitment, and love all for the @childrensla.”
Although Ruah says she wishes she would have captured more photos and video, there’s plenty of content on her Instagram. Actually, the event looks exhausting. You might get tired just watching all the athletes. Check it out right here:
