Vacationing in Paris is something many people dream about doing at least once in their lives. Some people want to mark a very special milestone with such a trip. That’s what “TODAY” host Al Roker and his wife are doing right now.
Roker and his wife, journalist Deborah Roberts of ABC News, are currently vacationing in the famous City of Light. And they are sharing the journey with their fans. According to PopCulture, Roker and Roberts are in Paris to celebrate their 26th wedding anniversary. The beautiful French city is also known as the City of Love, after all.
On Thursday, Sept. 16, the “TODAY” host began sharing photos from their trip via his Instagram account. In this photo, Roker and Roberts are sitting outside a picture-perfect cafe. They are enjoying coffee and croissants and are all smiles. Along with this photo, Roker added a very sweet message to his wife.
“Today marks 26 years that @debrobertsabc and I started a wonderful adventure that continues to thrill and delight. Thank you for the love, laughter and the children who are truly the gifts that keep giving. #happyanniversary,” the 67-year-old Roker shared.

Deborah Roberts also celebrated their 26 years of marriage with a social media post and a sweet message to her husband. Her post included photos from their wedding day, as well as photos of them having fun over the years.
“The sumptuous journey began 26 years ago today. It has been a true and delicious adventure. Ups. Downs. Better. Worse. Coasting …joyriding. And holding on tight along the way. So thrilled to share this full life with you @alroker Happy anniversary dear. Here’s to so many more! #happy #anniversary,” Roberts shared on Instagram.
The “TODAY” host and Roberts, who is 60, were wed on Sept. 16, 1995. They also have two children – Leila Roker, who is 22 years old, and Nicholas, who is 19. Also, Leila is a graduate of the American University of Paris.
In another Instagram post from their trip, Al Roker shared a photo of him, alongside Deborah and Leila dining with the famous Eiffel Tower in the background. Needless to say, Leila’s parents were very happy to get to spend time with their daughter.
“Beyond fortunate to be able to spend our #anniversary with our girl in #Paris Viva la #passsanitaire,” the “TODAY” host captioned this photo. On Saturday, Sept. 18, Al Roker also posted a photo of him embracing his daughter. “So great spending time with @cleilapatra in #paris,” he captioned the photo.
Deborah Roberts also shared a photo of her with her daughter. “My heart is truly full,” the caption said.
What Leila has decided to do for a living shouldn’t come as a surprise. The 22-year-old is working as a journalist – just like her famous parents. It appears that the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree, as the saying goes.
