Jen Landon took a moment on Instagram to express her thanks to fans for the opportunity to play “Yellowstone” character Teeter on Monday.

In the post, she posted a picture of herself hugging castmate Cole Hauser on his horse. She said she was “truly overwhelmed” for the “love and support show for Teeter this week.”

Landon, daughter of the late “Bonanza” star Michael Landon, said she loves playing Teeter, and it’s “an honor to get to play her.” She goes on to thank the show and called the “Yellowstone” fans the best. She ends the post by saying that the show “can’t do what we do without you.”

Before “Yellowstone,” the 38-year-old Landon had roles in TV shows “Animal Kingdom” and “Banshee.” At age 5, she played a little girl in one of the last season’s final “Highway to Heaven” episodes. She’s also got an acting degree from the prestigious Tisch School of The Arts. Notable alums include Law and Order stars Kathryn Erbe and Jesse L. Martin, musician/actor Lady Gaga and actor/producer Alec Baldwin.

Recent Episode Big For Teeter

In the latest episode, John Dutton ordered all the women out of the bunkhouse. Despite Rip’s urging to exclude Teeter, Dutton won’t hear it.

But Teeter fights back, making a case for her job while revealing a nasty secret about the Season 3 finale.

Rip tells of the woman’s worth, but Dutton’s determined to find out if she broke any rules, including any hanky panky in the bunkhouse.

The ranch hand fires back that she didn’t know it was not allowed and supports herself by showing off her branding.

“So all that, ‘This is my home forever is just talk?” Teeter responds angrily, pulling aside her shirt to show him the brand. “F****** scarred for life, and it don’t mean nothing?”

That really looks to catch John Dutton off guard.

Boy, that Teeter is one strong woman. She’s such a natural fit with the show’s cast of merry madmen and women.

In a season preview clip introducing her character, Landon said, “I just felt excited and honored to join the show where women, for lack of a better term, have life by the balls.”

Is Teeter Leaving?

There’s a cloud hanging over Teeter, and Dutton never really resolved anything, so there’s a possibility she’s back at the ranch. Websites like CarterMatt and others are wondering if that’s it for Landon’s character.

Landon’s name is still permanently in the show credits, and anything is possible now. Or maybe she ends up in Texas to join Jimmy at the Four Sixes?

Hopefully, the actress’s Instagram post indicates that she wants “Yellowstone,” and “Yellowstone” should want her too.

At the same time, she’s keeping busy as Sarah Allen on “FBI: Most Wanted,” so she’s got that to fall back on or use as a reason to leave the ranch, right?
