The fate of the Dutton family is an everyday worry for Yellowstone fans as they wait for the premier of Season 4.
After all, things have never looked direr for the Duttons than they did at the end of Season 3. As the ranch’s enemies seem to get closer and closer, the show hooks watchers with John Dutton being shot several times, as well as Beth being the target of a bomb attack.
As tantalizing as the season’s ending was, fans are salivating for new info or hints that might give them an idea of what happens next. Season 4 is right around the corner, but it can’t come soon enough.
But a piece of advice: don’t ask Kelly Reilly. The Beth Dutton actress says her lips are sealed as the show gradually moves toward the release of Season 4.
Speaking to ScreenRant, Reilly shut the door on any updates from her on Beth Dutton’s fate.
“Yeah, the end of season three is a big cliffhanger,” Reilly said.“I’m not allowed to really say too much about whether or not I’m part of season four. In fact, I’m not allowed to say anything.”
But she did add a thought of encouragement.
“What I can say is that season four has been shot, and that it’s wonderful what happens. I will say that,” she said.
“Wonderful” is a pretty interesting choice, Kelly.
In the context of Yellowstone, that word could mean literally anything. After all, Yellowstone is a “wonderful” show from a critical perspective, but would one consider most of the harsh and tense developments in the show to be “wonderful”? Not so much.
Kelly Reilly’s Look Forced Change to Rip Wheeler on Yellowstone
When you fall in love with a show, it’s easy to assume that much of the characters themselves are visually similar to the actors playing them. For example, Kelly Reilly.
Reilly’s stunning hair in Yellowstone is the same she boasts in real life. A stark ginger, it fits both the character and the actor perfectly. What some may not realize though, is that Rip Wheeler actor Cole Hauser also has the same orange color.
Speaking to Jenny McCarthy, Hauser actually explained how Rip got his iconic dark hair and beard. Yellowstone fans can thank Reilly.
“When I first got the role, as you know Kelly’s a ginger and I’m ginger as well,” Hauser starts. “We looked like we were brother and sister! So we kind of had to make sure that wouldn’t be the case.”
This is where show creator Taylor Sheridan comes in.
“[Taylor Sheridan said] ‘I don’t want to do it to her, but what do you think about dying your hair?’ Because I’ve dyed it for other stuff that I’ve done,” Hauser said. “They liked that look, and it’s kind of a harder look. Your eyes pop a little bit more.”
All’s well that ends well. Hopefully, the Duttons and Rip will be able to say the same.
