Fans of the Paramount Network hit show Yellowstone got some interesting news via social media early on Thursday evening.
Yellowstone is the US drama series that everyone has been talking about lately. The show stars Hollywood A-lister Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, and Luke Grimes.
And as many loyal fans already know, Taylor Sheridan’s popular television drama follows the conflicts between the Yellowstone Ranch owners, the Dutton family, and its neighbors. Fans of Yellowstone have also likely noticed that some of the ranch workers and members of the Dutton family sport the Yellowstone symbol on their bodies in the form of a brand.
The branding of the Yellowstone Ranch symbol, which resembles a large Y, is usually found on people’s chests. Whoever sports the brand means that they belong to the ranch and therefore the Dutton family.
The Yellowstone brand mark also represents one of loyalty and property. As a result, many of the new ranch-hands go on to receive the brand as an oath.
In a recent post from Yellowstone’s official Twitter account, Ryan the ranch hand is highlighted as one of the newer branded members of the ranch.
Ryan is a ranch hand working at the Dutton Ranch. His character is played by Ian Bohen. The Yellowstone account shared the tweet at 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, along with a photo of Ryan.
“He’s a branded man now. #YellowstoneTV @IanBohen,” Yellowstone writes.
So far during the show’s first three seasons, we can see a few of the main characters sporting the iconic “Y” mark on their bodies. Some of those include Jimmy Hurdstrom (Jefferson White), Colby (Demin Richards), and Teeter (Jennifer Landon).
Yellowstone Marathon Coming Up on Valentine’s Weekend
Yellowstone fans in need of plans on Valentine’s Day can officially rejoice. Paramount Network is bringing us all the Kevin Costner content we need with an upcoming marathon.
The “We Love Kevin Costner Marathon will begin on Saturday and continue throughout the weekend. It will feature the first three seasons of Yellowstone in addition to Costner films, Draft Day and The Guardian.
Meanwhile, Costner himself took to Instagram to highlight the big weekend ahead. He shared a preview of the marathon with his nearly half-a-million followers, captioning the video: “Doing it big on @paramountnetwork this weekend!”
“This Valentine’s Day weekend, enjoy the gift of Kevin Costner,” the narrator says in the video. “Share some Dutton love with all three seasons of ‘Yellowstone.’ Plus, ‘Draft Day’ and ‘The Guardian.’ The We Love Kevin Costner Marathon starts Saturday and continues all weekend, on Paramount Network.”
