Yellowstone’s Teeter is on FBI: Most Wanted. But, really, are you surprised?

Alright, so Teeter isn’t actually on the show. Although, it’s easy to imagine the Yellowstone character on an FBI’s most-wanted list. While Teeter is sticking to the Dutton ranch, actress Jennifer Landon is making an appearance on the CBS spinoff, FBI: Most Wanted. Landon is joining the cast for the second part of season two. She plays Sarah Allen, a riding instructor for Special Agent LaCroix’s daughter. Landon’s debut episode airs tonight on CBS.

FBI: Most Wanted shared a photo of Landon on set. Along with the photo, they wrote, “Are those sparks we see? @thejenlandon makes her #FBIMostWanted debut tonight at 10/9c after @FBICBS.

Does This Mean Teeter Won’t Be Returning To Yellowstone?

Although fans are excited to see Landon’s talent being recognized by other shows, the news of Landon joining FBI: Most Wanted has them asking some questions. Frequently, actors join new shows when their characters are killed off in the current show they’re starring in. Now that Landon has joined CBS’s new show, fans are wondering if Teeter will be returning to Yellowstone for future episodes. Here are a few reasons we think Teeter is sticking around. First, Landon’s character on FBI: Most Wanted is in a recurring capacity. This means she’ll be in fewer episodes than the show’s regulars. This also means that she won’t be needed on set as much so she’ll have plenty of time to film for Yellowstone.

Secondly, Teeter was in a pretty good spot at the end of season three. She survived an attack by Wade and his son and she seems to be bonding with her ranch cohorts. She also chose to bear the mark of the Yellowstone brand which kind of means she’s here to stay – at least through season four. However, the show is known for its dynamic twists, so we’ll just have to watch to find out for sure.
