Yellowstone fans have finally gotten answers about season 4. The series, which usually airs in June, has been pushed back to this Fall. Several new actors have been added to the cast as well. This includes actress Jacki Weaver, who will play Caroline Warner.
Warner is the CEO of Market Equities. She’s trying to destroy the hold that John Dutton has on the massive Montana ranch. She’ll not only play a crucial figure in the upcoming season, but if her history is anything to go by, she’ll ace the role.
Weaver Has an Impressive Resume
Weaver has been in the entertainment industry for decades, amassing a wide variety of different roles. One of her most notable recent roles is Cheryl in the 2018 smash hit Birdbox. She also played a crucial role as Carolyn/’Claudette’ in the 2017 film, The Disaster Artist.
Her breakaway role was in Animal Kingdom. The film follows a 17-year-old boy in a family of criminals. Weaver played Janine “Smurf” Cody, and received critical praise for her performance. That role earned her an academy award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
After her work in Animal Kingdom, she quickly landed another important role in Silver Linings Playbook. She played Dolores Solatano in the critically acclaimed hit. Weaver was once again nominated for an Oscar for that role. Now, she’ll bring that acting skill to Yellowstone.
Before these roles, however, Weaver was an acting powerhouse in Australia for decades, emerging to stardom in the 70s. It’ll be fascinating to see what kind of nuance she’ll bring to her character on Yellowstone. She’ll likely tackle this challenge with excitement.
“The thing about being an actor is that every new job is a new challenge. Sometimes you’ll have a shot, and it doesn’t work. Sometimes it’ll work better than you expected,” she once wrote.
She was also awarded the Officer of the Order of Australia in the 2014 Queen’s Honours List for her incredible work in the performing arts. Needless to say, she’s quite qualified.
She also joins many other actors including Piper Perabo, Kathryn Kelly and Finn Little.
‘Yellowstone’ Fans Will Likely Have to Wait Until November
It’s been a stark radio silence for months about the Yellowstone season 4 release date. Now, Deadline is reporting that they’re likely eyeing a November release date for the series. Fans will have to wait a bit longer before seeing their favorite characters again. In fact, this means fans will have to wait over a year after the explosive (literally) season 3 finale.
But if you’re feeling completely Yellowstone content starved, Paramount has finally released a teaser. You can watch it below. Just as a warning, though, it’ll make you want November to come even faster.
