Dolly Parton’s ‘Holly, Dolly Christmas’: How, When, Where to Watch the Holiday Special

The day has finally come for Dolly Parton to unveil her holiday special. Tonight the world will get the chance to unwrap the gift of “A Holly Dolly Christmas.”

Fans of Parton and the holiday season have been eagerly awaiting this special since its announcement last month.

How “A Holly Dolly Christmas” Came to Be

Back in early October, Dolly released her first Christmas album in over three decades. The album, “Holly Dolly Christmas” features twelve tracks and some special guests. Guest appearances on the album include Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Michael Bublé.

Shortly after releasing the album, Dolly got in touch with CBS. She told them that she wanted to record a Christmas special. Like most people, the folks at CBS know that when Dolly asks to perform, you don’t turn her down. So, they got to work putting it together.

What to Expect From “A Holly Dolly Christmas”

You can expect “A Holly Dolly Christmas” to be an intimate holiday evening with Dolly Parton. She will be performing hymns and Christmas classics, some of which are on her Christmas album. She will also be sharing faith-based Christmas stories as well as her own Christmas memories. Here’s a sneak peek at one of the songs from the special.

If this is any indication of what is to come, Dolly will be bringing a message of hope, love, and faith. Just what many of us need for this holiday season.
