While the nation awaits his father’s next maneuver, Donald Trump Jr. is staying busy in the political realm. Trump Jr. took to social media on Monday to urge voters to ignore conservatives telling them not to vote for two U.S. Senate candidates. The president’s son criticizes political leaders who are telling voters not elect Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue.

“I’m seeing a lot of talk from people who are suppose to be on our side telling people not to go out and vote for @kloeffler and #PerdueSenate,” Trump Jr. tweets.

He then tell his followers to ignore conservative detractors and that their words are “nonsense.”

“That is NONSENE,” he proclaims. “IGNORE these people. We need all of our people coming out to vote for Kelly and David.”

Loeffler serves as Junior United States Senator for Georgia. Perdue serves as the Senior United States Senator for Georgia, a position he has held since 2015. Both politicians claim to be conservative political “outsiders” with the goal of bringing conservative values into the political realm. Both are supporters of current President Donald Trump.

Trump Jr. Tweet Attracts Social Media Attention

Trump Jr.’s Monday tweet garnered quite a bit of attention from his social media followers. The replies range from support to criticism of his message.

“Raise your hand if you think Donald Trump needs to be removed from office immediately,” a Twitter user replies.

“Thank you @DonaldjTrumpJr,” another reply says, “This is exactly right.”
