‘Jeopardy!’ Guest Hosts Revealed: Full List

As the hit game show, “Jeopardy!,” continues to look for its permanent host, producers are welcoming in a variety of guests to stand at the podium.

The show has been guest hosted by the record-setting player, Ken Jennings. He holds the all-time “Jeopardy!” records for most consecutive games won (74) and highest winnings in regular-season play ($2,520,700).

Journalists, an actress, and even a football player will be joining the guest list. We’re highlighting each one as they wait to step into the “Jeopardy!” spotlight.

Current ‘Jeopardy!’ Guest Host, Ken Jennings

Like we mentioned above, he is the winningest contestant in a regular-season on the game show. Before he stepped into the guest-hosting role, Jennings was serving as a consulting producer for “Jeopardy!”

He might be doing a fine job of hosting the show, but reports say that he’s not one of the “front-runners” that are being considered as a permanent replacement. However, Jennings has taped six weeks of the show that started airing on Jan. 11.

Aaron Rodgers, Braun and Brains

The Green Bay Packers quarterback has proven that he’s not only talented on the gridiron, but Aaron Rodgers also has one other weapon up his sleeve. And that’s his brain. This NFLer is actually a “Celebrity Jeopardy!” champion. He competed on the show in 2015, taking the win from “Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary and astronaut-turned-U.S. Senator Mark Kelly.

As a matter of fact, Rodgers accidentally shared the news before “Jeopardy!” released the statement. He is very excited about this opportunity.

“One of my idols growing up was Alex Trebek,” the superstar quarterback says. “They’re doing some guest-hosting spots. It’s going to be released here pretty soon, but I have the opportunity to do one of those.”

Katie Couric, First Woman Ever to Host the Game Show

Veteran journalist and TV host, Katie Couric is also slated to guest host “Jeopardy!” She’s obviously well-versed in asking questions, so this temporary gig should be a walk in the park.

Couric is currently running her own media company named Katie Couric Media.

It’s a ‘Dream Come True’ for Mayim Bialik

The actress that’s known for her time with the award-winning show “Big Bang Theory” is sharing her excitement for guest-hosting the show on Twitter.

“I’ll take #DreamComeTrue for $500 please. From being an answer on the show… to guest hosting… this is literally a dream come true for me. I’ve been such a fan of @Jeopardy and Alex Trebek since I can remember. It will be an honor to guest host & celebrate his great legacy,” Mayim Bialik writes.

As a matter of fact, Bialik, who’s currently starring in “Call Me Kat,” actually has a doctorate in neuroscience in real life!

Bill Whitaker Completes First Round of Guest Hosts

“60 Minutes” correspondent Bill Whitaker will also be taking the podium. He’s an award-winning journalist and has spent four decades covering news stories around the world for CBS News. Furthermore, this veteran journalist has won the Radio Television Digital News Association’s highest honor, the Paul White Award, for career achievement in 2018.

Additionally, the show will donate to a charity of each guest host’s choice, TODAY reports. The amount donated will equal the cumulative winnings of the contestants that compete during the weeks they serve as guest hosts.

The show will announce additional guest hosts later this season. “Jeopardy!” has yet to announce a new permanent host.
