Kori Robertson, the wife of Duck Dynasty star Willie Robertson, is trending on Instagram after a post on her about her family’s safety after Hurricane Laura’s destruction.
Kori Robertson, “bosshogswife“, has over 1.9 million followers on Instagram. Fans were worried about her family after Hurricane Laura devastated many parts of Louisiana, where the family lives.
She posted a photo last night of a large tree that had been uprooted and was on its side with a caption saying, “Thank you so much for all of your prayers today during the hurricane. I know all of Louisiana felt so much love and support! We are okay here, lots of trees down, and power outages, but thankfully nobody in our family hurt and nothing seriously destroyed. Please continue to lift up the many who have lost so much 🙏🏻 So devastating!”
Robertson went on to ask her fan to consider donating to organizations like the American Red Cross. She wrote, “If you’d like to help, you can text the word LAURA to 90999 to donate $10 to @americanredcross or visit redcross.org #hurricanelaura“.
Caring Fans
Already the mother of six has over 37.9 thousand likes and 237 comments with that number constantly growing.
The Robertson family grew to fame after A&E launched a show in 2013, called Duck Dynasty. Duck Dynasty is about the multi-million dollar hunting company the family created named Duck Commander. The show ended in 2017, however, that doesn’t mean that the fans stopped loving the Robertsons.
One fan commented on Kori Robertson’s post, saying, “Donation done ✅ Texans are praying for our neighbors! 💚”. Similarly, wrote, “So glad you’re all safe. Prayers for those going out to restore power, water and life saving needs.”
Hurricane Laura has a death toll of seven people so far, with dozens still missing. Thousands are also without power along the coast of Louisiana. Hurricane Laura was the largest hurricane to hit the United States this year and the largest hurricane to hit Louisiana since 1856.
