‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Episode 2 Recap: All the Details About Explosive Episode

Bombs and explosions galore all were a part of the second episode of “NCIS: Hawai’i” starring Vanessa Lachey on CBS on Monday night.

One scene finds Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennant, played by Lachey, in a bank lobby. She’s busy handling negotiations with a distressed man who strapped himself with a lot of explosives.

In Monday’s episode, Tennant and NCIS were tasked with stopping a team of international thieves utilizing World War II explosives on armored trucks. They would go on impossible heists before completing their last big job.

According to an article from TV Fanatic, Tennant was more of a backseat rider in this episode titled “Boom.” She sits in a seat of position while people below her are growing into becoming standout agents.

‘NCIS: Hawai’i’ Episode Continues To Let Lachey’s Tennant Express Warm Side

Lachey keeps bringing a level of warmth to her character. Meanwhile, Tennant and Joe Milius, played by Enver Gjokaj, continue growing their connection with one another. Both actors continue milking that bond between their characters.

The storyline between Lucy, played by Yasmin Al-Bustami, and Kate, played by Toro Anderson, continued to move forward. Lucy wants more than friendship with Kate. Yet Kate’s concern is over how some people would react to a romance with someone in another department.

“NCIS: Hawai’i” fans were definitely excited by having Norman “Boom Boom” Gates, played by Sharif Atkins, on the show. In the bank, Ernie Malik, played by Jason Antoon, kept looking around and was trying to make sense of it all.
