Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s daughter, Maggie McGraw, posted a new photo to her nearly 30,000 followers and it’s a pretty good generalization of 2020 and 2021.

She captioned the photo, “2020 and 2021 in a nutshell,’ while posting a happy at home selfie and another crying in bed.

It’s a good showcase of how the pandemic and isolation have taken a toll on us all. Many people likely didn’t expect all of 2020 to be consumed by COVID-19 and now 2021 will probably be very similar. The extra time at home isn’t as appreciated anymore.

Maggie McGraw is making some good points.

Tim McGraw on Watching His Girls Grow

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are celebrating over 25 years of marriage. They have three daughters, Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey. They are 23, 22, and 19, respectively.

Now that they are all growing up, McGraw is wishing he can slow down time.

“They were just babies … Our youngest is 19 and living in New York City now, I mean, it’s crazy. It goes by so fast … “You think you’re giving them good life lessons. You know, as a parent—look, you’re going to get half of everything wrong. That’s just the nature of it. There is no handbook with it,” Tim McGraw said in an interview, according to People.

Each of his daughters is growing away from the family home. He added that it’s “a beautiful thing, but it’s a sad thing at the same time.”

He’s also been giving parenting advice to Garrett Hedlund. The actor just had a baby with his girlfriend, Emma Roberts, and McGraw is the little boy’s godfather. Hedlund and McGraw met on the popular show “Friday Night Lights” and quickly grew close.

Now, McGraw is giving him parenting advice. McGraw doesn’t believe in the myth that children shouldn’t sleep in their parent’s beds.

“Up until the girls left the house, they would come, and they would make paillettes on Christmas Eve night all through high school. Even when Gracie came out here the first couple years after leaving. They would come back, and they would make paillettes in our bedroom, and sleep with us all night in our room. There was never a time they didn’t,” McGraw said, according to Taste of Country.

While he’s the master of singing country music, McGraw has also mastered parenting and being a family man.
