Keep your eyes on the skies, Outsiders. 2022 is turning out to be the year of the UFO.
As if this decade hasn’t been weird enough, unidentified flying object spottings are apparently on the rise. And according to Brobible, a few people aboard commercial airlines caught two such spottings while traveling over Europe last week.
A couple of pilots noticed the first UFO on January 3rd. And by happenstance, they managed to catch the craft on camera. You can watch the footage below.
According to their entry on UFO Stalker, the pilots were “flying along at 39,000 feet in an airbus a320 somewhere over Georgia” when one pilot decided to snap a few pictures of the scenery.
“[I] tried to take a video of another aircraft flying just above us [going the] opposite direction at 40,000 ft,” they wrote. “[I] took out my phone to take photos of the beautiful milky way, using the new iPhone 13 pro max. [Then I] tried to take a video of another aircraft flying just above us [going the] opposite direction at 40,000 ft. As I was filming this aircraft flying over us, I noticed this v-shaped object appear. It appears to be between us and the other aircraft.”
The pilot wrote that both they and the captain wish to “remain anonymous.” But they felt compelled to share the video.
“At the end, I zoom briefly to the instruments to give perspective,” the pilots added. “Nothing was reported to FAA or ATC.”
Two London Bound Travelers Spotted a Second UFO the Following Night
The following night (January 4th), a couple traveling from Glasgow, Scotland, to London, England, spotted the second UFO, according to GlasgowLive.com.
“I was flying from Glasgow to London with my girlfriend. We left Glasgow Airport around 6 am,” Marjol Cela shared. “Just before we prepared to land in Gatwick Airport I saw this strange object. I started to film it and took some pictures as well.”
Cela’s pilot was just about to make touchdown when she noticed the “strange object.” And she noted that the UFO was “roughly three to four miles away” from her plane, which made it hard to capture. But despite the distance, she’s certain it wasn’t just a standard earthling-made craft.
“It definitely wasn’t a plane,” Marjol added. “I would say it looked more like a flying object in disguise. I’m not sure if it was moving. To me, it looked like it was hovering.”
You can watch the video and judge for yourself here.
According to the publication, Marjol Cela’s discovery came a few weeks after two other people reported seeing separate UFOs flying through Glasgow.
