White Castle Burger Chain Shares Slider Stuffing Recipe Ahead of Thanksgiving 2020

Are you struggling to find a last-minute stuffing recipe? Don’t worry. White Castle says you can just mash together some perfectly good burgers and serve that for Thanksgiving.

Yes, you read that correctly… But reports say it might actually taste good?

Nearly 29 years ago, the famous burger chain White Castles blessed thankful turkey eaters everywhere with its Slider Stuffing. Every year when the holidays begin to creep in the back of people’s minds, the chain likes to remind whoever is in charge of making the stuffing that they have a quick fix. 

To keep up with the times, White Castle created a vegetarian option last year, with the help of their Impossible slider. The vegetarian and turkey versions of the stuffing are listed on their website

White Castle Stuffing Recipe

The recipe is simple, however. Simple enough that we don’t even think we can mess it up. It consists of six ingredients, or seven if you are sticking with the vegetarian option. 

All you need to do is break apart the already small sliders (without the pickles), throw in some celery bits, a bit of seasoning, and then chicken broth, and boom! You have yourself, Slider Stuffing. 

Before you go digging in with your bare hands, be sure to mix it all together and toss it in a casserole dish and bake it at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Plenty of time to reward yourself with a few beers for all your hard work in the kitchen. 

People on Twitter have been hyping up the dish, saying it is the best part of the Thanksgiving meal, which we personally think is a pretty hot take. 

In addition, 90s Grammy Award-winning rapper Coolio has teamed up with the fast-food chain to put his own special spin on the dish. In a nearly five-minute YouTube video called “Cookin’ With Coolio,” he breaks down the recipe. Hint: he puts green and yellow onions and sweet peppers in his version.
