Ducks Unlimited has six new duck hunting videos online to help keep you occupied until the waterfowl season. For some people, the season starts in about a month or two as the first teal arrive.
“For those of us who have fallen in love with wetlands and waterfowl, duck calls and retrievers, decoys and shotguns,” says Ducks Unlimited, “this series is [for you].”
The videos use state-of-the-art cinematography to bring these hunters and conservationists’ stories to life. There’s plenty of good calling, shooting and dog retrieving.
Duck Hunting: DU Films
This narrative film series explores the lives and stories of duck hunters across the country. We find out why they became hunters. What drives their passion. How they are passing on the traditions, and why they are giving back to the resource.
Going beyond the confines and formulas of traditional duck hunting shows, DU Films presents the beauty and passion of waterfowling in new and unexpected ways.
The first video, “Red Dogs” premiered earlier in the spring. The rest of the videos “Game Keepers,” “The Chairmen,” “Beaver Dam,” “The Sporting Chef,” and “Wade” are also available.
Ducks Unlimited is the world’s largest nonprofit dedicated to conserving North America’s continually disappearing waterfowl habitats. Established in 1937, Ducks Unlimited has conserved more than 14.5 million acres thanks to contributions from more than 1,000,000 supporters across the continent.
