Aaron Rodgers has had a lot of success during his NFL career – and he’s also had a lot of fun. The Green Bay quarterback’s birthday today, Dec. 2, is the perfect time to look back on some of his greatest plays, including these:

Rodgers entered the NFL in 2005 after playing at the University of California. After being drafted by the Packers that year, he became the team’s starting quarterback in 2008. He was the backup to Brett Favre until that time. In 2010, he led the franchise to a Super Bowl victory and was selected as the game’s MVP.

According to the official website of the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers ranks first in NFL history in several categories. These include career passing rating (102.4), interception percentage (1.39), and TD/INT ratio (4.33, 364/84). He has led the team to an 8-3 record during the 2020 season. The team is currently in first place in the NFS North standings. According to, the veteran has 3,100 yards, 33 touchdowns, 4 interceptions, and a QBR rating of 85.2 this season.

The Quirky Quarterback Has Jokes

In addition to his play on the field, Aaron Rodgers is known for his sense of humor, including antics like these:

Putting a mic on Rodgers during a game still results in some humorous moments, like this one with Za’Darius Smith.

Additionally, the quarterback is also known for what ESPN reported as his “inner weirdness.”

“For Rodgers, nothing is irrelevant and everything is subject to review,” Sam Borden wrote for ESPN about Rodgers in October 2020. “He wants to know about people and places and things. He wants to understand motivations…”

The ESPN story adds teammates’ views on Rodgers and his untamed quirkiness. They say the superstar “marches to the beat of his own drum” and “always looking for loopholes.” They say Aaron Rodgers “loves seeing guys get outside their comfort zone” and loves to look for things that “set people apart.”

Rodgers has also shown his funny side in commercials, which we’ve all undoubtedly seen a time or two.

Aaron Rodgers Celebrates Victory Over Chicago

Rodgers recently celebrated a Green Bay Packers’ victory over the rival Bears, telling Bleacher Report, “I love to beat Chicago.” During the victory, Rodgers surpassed the 50,000 yards passing mark for his career.

This game against Chicago was the fifth time this season that Rodgers threw four touchdowns in one game. Furthermore, he was leading the league with 33 touchdowns passed on the season, ProFootball Talk reported.
