Kansas City Chiefs superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill has something to say about the “GOAT” discussion regarding his position.
Former NFL baller Randy Moss recently declared himself the greatest receiver of all time in NFL history. The former Minnesota Viking then put Terrell Owens in the second slot of his all time rankings, drawing the ire of Jerry Rice.
Moss further dissed Rice by saying he would come in only third or fourth place in his rankings. Rice fired back on social media with a post of his career stats compared to Moss’s career stats. In the post, Rice declares himself the best receiver of all time and mocks Moss by using his catch phrase, “You got Mossed.”
While both Moss and Rice have a claim to being the GOAT at the receiver position, Tyreek Hill has a case for best receiver in today’s game. The Kansas City Chiefs speedster recently reveals that he agrees with Moss’s rankings and patterns his game after him.
Tyreek Hill Claims ‘GOAT’ Title belongs to Randy Moss
He tells TMZ Sports that he understands both sides of the argument but also says he sides with Moss. The wide out says Moss changed the game with his combination of size and speed.
“Everybody knows I’m going to say Randy Moss,” he says. “Randy Moss was my favorite player growing up. Randy Moss is my favorite player of all time.”
Tyreek Hill is having a fantastic season and is a big reason why many analysts are forecasting a playoff run for the Chiefs. The 26-year-old has 83 catches on the season for 1,211 yards and 15 touchdowns. He says he still watches highlights of Moss’s playing days and studies the Hall-Of-Famer’s skills.
“Like, he just changed the game,” Hill says. “6-foot-4, run a 4.2, can create separation, can run routes, can catch the ball. Like, come on.”
Tyreek Hill and the Chiefs will take on the Atlanta Falcons this weekend.
