LeBron James is a football fan at all levels. This past weekend he had the channel tuned to the Tennessee Titans game and was very impressed by what he saw.

The Tennessee Titans were in Indianapolis for Week 12 to take on the Colts. The Titans put on an impressive performance against the home team, and of course, one particular athlete showed up to play.

Derrick Henry’s know for his stiff arm, athleticism, and the ability to level up in the second half of games. His moves on Sunday caught the attention of James, and the NBA star called out number 22 in an Instagram story.

James wrote, “That boy at it again! #YoungKing.” The Titan honors the nickname King Henry and even uses it as his social media username.

Henry helped the Titans retake first place in the AFC South with the win over the Colts. He finished with 178 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries, and all three of those scores along with 140 yards came in the first half, according to CBS Sports.

LeBron James Continues with Shoutouts

Derrick Henry wasn’t the only one that James called out on Sunday. He was also active on Twitter.

“My GOODNESS CHEETAH!!! Insane G! @cheetah,” James tweets.

Tyreek Hill, also known as “The Cheetah,” put on an impressive display against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hill made 8 catches for 210 yards and two touchdowns in the first half.

James also shared his enthusiasm for the Cleveland Browns.

“8-3! Keep going!! #Browns @Browns,” the tweet reads.

The Ohio-native is always quick to support his hometown teams. He even pays attention to football at his high school alma mater, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School

Also on Twitter yesterday, he called out Niko Lalos as he suited up for his first game in the NFL.

He writes, “Good luck out there Niko!”
