Professional ski racer Lindsey Vonn took in last night’s Super Bowl LV matchup in person and in style as she is known to do.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers took home the Lombardi Trophy, convincingly defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9. Quarterback Tom Brady took home the Most Valuable Player award after a spectacular performance. In his tenth Super Bowl, Brady went for three touchdowns on more than 200 yards passing. Two of his touchdown tosses went to his longtime favorite target and former New England Patriot teammate Rob Gronkowski.
Vonn, who has a robust social media presence, attended the Super Bowl and took several photos of herself at the big game. She was able to share several of her photos on her social media pages so that fans and followers could get a feel for the atmosphere.

Vonn also found a humorous link between the 55th Super Bowl and herself, pondering if the game was named after her. The Instagram post and photo went live for all to see shortly before the beginning of the game.
“LV x LV…when they name the Super Bowl after you, you have to go,” the skier writes in the post’s caption. “Let’s go Tom Brady.”
She also tags athletic clothing giant Under Armour and the National Football League in her post. She is obviously noting that the roman numeral for 55 is “LV” which are also her initials.
Vonn has more than 2.1 million followers on Instagram alone and thousands more on her other social media pages. Her pregame Super Bowl post took in more than 136,000 likes along with hundreds of comments. Many of the post’s commenters asked Vonn how she enjoyed the experience and ask if she was rooting for a particular team.
A member of the United States Ski Team, Vonn has won four World Cup overall championships. She is one of only two to accomplish the feat along with Annemarie Moser-Proll. She is also an avid sports fan and says she enjoys going to live events, like the Super Bowl.
