It’s a very happy for Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews as they welcome their first child, a baby girl named Sterling Skye.
The pair announced the birth on social media on Saturday, February 21. However, Sterling Skye was born on February 20, per the post from Brittany Matthews.
Matthews captioned the post:

The engaged couple has had an extremely eventful past year, as Matthews announced her pregnancy in September and Mahomes has been chasing his second Super Bowl ring.
Unfortunately, that didn’t pan out, but now the pair can say they are proud parents. Unsurprisingly, the comments of congratulations are rushing in.

Patrick Mahomes Comments on Brittany Matthews Due Date
It does appear that the baby has arrived a little early for Mahomes and Matthews. But considering it’s a day onward from Sterling Skye’s birth, everything seems to be well and that’s fantastic.
For context, Patrick Mahomes recently commented on the birth of Sterling Skye after Super Bowl LV. The Kansas City Chiefs QB said that they were excited as Brittany got closer and closer to her expected date.
“Hopefully [Brittany] gets all the way to her due date, but I mean really, anytime, I could be having a baby girl and I’m super excited about that,” said Mahomes. “It’s gonna be something special, and I’m excited for the journey of trying to find ways to better myself and become the best dad that I can be.”
