National Football League superstar Patrick Mahomes and his fiancee, Brittany Matthews, are enjoying their first offseason as new parents.
Soon it will be back to the grindstone for Patrick Mahomes and his Kansas City Chiefs teammates. But the star quarterback is trying to squeeze in as much time with his soon-to-be wife and baby girl as he can. Little Sterling Skye is now just over a month old and the proud mother and father are soaking up every bit of it. Both Mahomes and Matthews have taken to social media to express their excitement over their little bundle of joy. Both say the baby is doing quite well and so are the parents.
One of the pleasures of being a first-time mother to a baby girl is purchasing matching outfits. Brittany certainly to be enjoying matching up mother and baby getups. She recently took to her Instagram page to post a photo of herself and Sterling Skye wearing matching pajamas. The gals are decked out in pink, silky PJ’s as they get ready for bed.
Matthews captions the adorable photo, saying “matching PJs with baby girl is my fav!” She includes a couple of heart emojis at the end of her caption.
Patrick Mahomes also got in on the fun with a recent photo celebrating Sterling Skye’s first month in the world. Matthews posted the photo on her social media pages just a few days ago. The proud father holds his child with care as they pose for the photo.
“Ster is one month,” the post’s caption reads.
The post drew more than 305,000 “likes” along with thousands of comments from social media users. Many commenters congratulated Patrick Mahomes on his beautiful and growing family.
As a new father and soon-to-be husband, Patrick Mahomes should have plenty of motivation heading into the 2021 NFL season. Also fueling his competitive fire is the bad taste of a Super Bowl loss ending his 2020 season. Mahomes and the Chiefs fell to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV.
The Pro Bowl quarterback and his team will be out out for revenge this upcoming season.
