While Tom Brady may be busy saving plays on the field, his longtime supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen has been busy saving a trapped sea turtle that was trapped in a fishing net.
The supermodel posted a series of photos along with a video about the experience recently as she rescued the large turtle- which was on its back when she found it. Speaking in her native Portuguese, the Super Bowl champion’s wife talks to the stranded animal as she attempts to help it out of some super thick netting.
The 41-year-old shares the video of the rescue on her Instagram, showing the dangers sea creatures face when fishing nets or other materials linger in the ocean. Following the moments when Bundchen gets the animal out of the net’s grips, it’s too weak to make it back to the ocean on its own.
It’s at this time that Bundchen helps the sea turtle back into the ocean waves, making sure that it’s safely heading home.
The supermodel shows her compassion for the animal as she makes sure it will safely survive back in the safety of the waters. The act is no doubt a reflection of her strong character and nurturing spirit.
How Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen Met
The power couple of Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen seems like it’s an untouchable perfect match. But the two met just like anyone else and fell in love. Their story begins like a lot of couples – with a blind date.
While most of us don’t have casual supermodel friends that are willing to set us up with other supermodels, Tom Brady is not like the rest of us in that regard.
Speaking in an interview, he had this to say of meeting his gorgeous and career-minded wife:
“I had gotten out of a relationship and (Gisele) had been out of a long-term relationship that she had, so when we met I wasn’t quite sure if I was ready for a relationship. “I didn’t think I was, but we met and hit it off. When she walked in I just thought she was the most beautiful woman I’ve seen in my life.”
Gisele had equal thoughts about Brady when she first saw him.
“You know, when I saw those kind eyes, I literally fell in love, like, right away,” Gisele said. “I was like, ‘What?’ He was just so—you know how sweet he is.”
The couple has been dominating their respective industries ever since. While the couple has raised their family in Boston for years, they recently left to a warmer climate when Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
